Inspire Behavioral Solutions is a small company that was founded in 2014 by Shannon Hamning & Elizabeth LaBerge with a goal to provide quality services. Inspire provides treatment utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other related disorders.  ABA is the only scientifically proven behavioral method effective in the treatment of ASD.  Our mission is to teach our learners the necessary skills & socially significant behaviors to successfully learn from their environment without additional supports. The Inspire team specializes in a Verbal Behavior approach, and utilizes Natural Environment Teaching to promote the spontaneous generalization of skills.

THE PROCESS OF STARTING SERVICES

ABA services are covered through insurance with diagnosis of autism. Inspire is currently in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield (PPO), Humana,  Aetna & United Healthcare. Inspire does provide private pay options as well.

Once you contact us, we will schedule an intake meeting free of charge to discuss our services as well as information about your child to determine if Inspire is a good fit.  If you decide to move forward with our services, we will run a benefits check to ensure your insurance covers ABA services.    Upon confirmation, we will schedule for our BCBA to begin evaluating your child using an appropriate assessment tool for your child's age and skills. The assessment is typically completed over 4-5 days, scheduling a few hours at a time.  Once the assessment is completed, your BCBA will develop a treatment plan based on the results of the assessment.  Once the treatment plan is completed, it will be reviewed with you as well as sent to insurance dependent on whether or not authorization is required for services through your insurance policy.  If authorization is required, services will begin once the treatment plan has been approved.  If authorization is not required, services can begin immediately.

The recommended number of hours per week of therapy will be dependent on a variety of factors including the results of the assessment.  Each team typically consists of two BCBAs and two to three behavior therapists (this number will depend on the amount of hours your child is receiving).
